Web Accessibility

Accessibility at the President's Office

The University of Massachusetts is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment, admission and participation in academic programs, activities, and services, and the selection of vendors who provide services or products to the University.  In order to ensure that our services are accessible, we as a community take a holistic approach with the philosophy that accessibility is everyone's responsibility.

The Office of the President Accessibility site provides staff at the UMass Office of the President information about tools and resources to help ensure accessibility of services.

Accessible Technology

Staff involved in the procurement or development and implementation of technologies that will be utilized by our students, faculty, and staff should adhere to the latest version of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Level A and AA, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium.  Please contact us if you have any suggestions or concerns.
