The Certificate for Spanish and Health, offered by the UMass Amherst Spanish & Portuguese Program and the College of Nursing, is designed to equip graduates to address the healthcare needs of Spanish-speaking populations. Note that this certificate is offered only to current UMass Amherst on-site students. The training offered by this certificate serves a broad range of students from a variety of fields, including Spanish, Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition, Psychology, pre-med and translation, who expect to work in a Spanish-Speaking healthcare environment.
