The UMass Amherst Elaine Marieb College of Nursing (EMCON) together with the School of Public Health and Health Sciences (SPHHS) is offering a Graduate Certificate in Population Health for Health Professionals. The certificate provides students with the opportunity to gain skills in both public health and nursing in one credential. The fully online/asynchronous certificate is aimed at a) working nursing professionals who strive to gain professional skills needed to advance their careers in public health, b) previously admitted Doctor Nurse Practitioner (DNP) students who want to earn a public health credential along with the doctoral degree, and c) nurses or professionals who are considering a Doctor of Nursing Practice or Master of Public Health degree program.
