The accelerated program in Materials Science and Engineering allows students to begin coursework in the non-thesis master's program while completing a related bachelors degree. The interdisciplinary graduate program was developed collaboratively between the College of Natural Science and the College of Engineering at UMass Amherst. The program prepares graduates to apply and integration of advanced science, computational techniques, and engineering principles to materials systems.
