The M.S. MFE degree is a 10-course (30-credit) program without a thesis requirement. Coursework will require a minimum of four three-credit core courses (out of 9 available courses) and at least six three credit electives (out of 13 available courses) for a total of 30 credits. The curriculum is designed to integrate with both independent student research and internships or other work placements. Degree rules allow students to take up to 6 credits towards a practicum (a MfE-related internship or independent study) as an elective course.
