The University of Massachusetts MFA for Poets & Writers invites you to join a community of writers dedicated to the creation of new and important writing. For over forty years writers have found in the MFA Program opportunities to concentrate on their work and to pursue a broad spectrum of interests related to the literary arts. Our writers have made distinguished contributions to contemporary literature through the publication of their work, and in the fields of literary publishing, scholarship, arts administration and the practice of teaching.
